North of Puerto Aventuras, just off the tip of the Yucatan Penisula is one of the few places in the world that you can observe and actually swim with Whale Sharks during their annual migration. The encounters are practically guaranteed from mid June to early September.

The Whale Sharks are normally seen feeding at the surface so you can easily view them from the boat or snorkel along side of them. This is a terrific opportunity to get “up close and personal” with the largest fish in the world without even putting on Scuba gear!
