Michel was an amazing dive master! He pointed out little things and took things nice and slow. Not to mention he is funny. The shop is how I love my dive shops, laid back but on top of things. They can answer any question and handle all of the gear professionally and get things done without making you feel rushed at all.
I am making Dive Aventuras my dive shop of the Riviera Maya. I couldn't be happier!!! Can't wait to see you guys next year. |

I just wanted to thank Michel for an awesome first time diving experience! Thanks for putting up with me. I've been home two weeks and I can't stop talking about how incredible it was to go scuba diving! Although my cousins who dove with me are PADI certified they took the Discover Scuba with me so I didn't have to be alone. I was a little nervous, but Michel made me feel so comfortable! It was by far the best 48 mintues I have every expierenced in my life! I'm already think about my next trip back. Thanks Michel...you are the best! |

My wife and I are novice divers. This operation is laid back but very professional. The dive masters are very outstanding. They check on you regularly. They have the hand signals down and send a rope up attached to a float so the boat will find us and so we do not get disoriented. As we know diving can be dangerous but our dive master Carlos makes it safe. Nils is a great guy and was very helpful and flexible in scheduling our dives. I'm headed back in December 08. |

Many thanks to the staff at Dive Aventuras for such a great experience. Our instructor Juan worked very hard to help us two rather inexperienced divers have a safe, fun, and memorable dive. Our boat captain and second captain were also very skilled, friendly, and helpful. We will try to get some good practice, so maybe next time Juan will not have to work so hard! Thanks again! |

Just returned to sunny California after a week in Mexico. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Ted who put up with me and got me certified. Ted knew when to push me and when to give me space and that is a rare find in instructors. I have never worked as hard for three days on "vacation" and had so much to show for it in the end. I enjoyed all the staff at Dive Aventuras and will be back in 2009 to dive again. Thank you! |

My Family at Dive Aventuras,
Once again I would like to thank you all for a wonderful 9 days full of diving. As always YOU GUYS ROCK!. The staff was professional, courteous, and an absolute joy to dive with. We immensely enjoyed our Cenote dives with Michele and Lucio and Joe and Dianne just couldn't stop talking about them afterwards. What a spiritual experience. In the ocean we had a so much fun with Carlos, Ted and Alex. They excelled at finding us all kinds of marine life, especially Carlos, who has an unbelievably keen eye. He was absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Karen for the Photography and videography sessions. The photo's came out great and we can't wait to see the video's. We can't wait to see you again in August for the Whale Shark adventure.

Nils, We're dropping a note to say hi to you and the rest of the Dive Aventuras team. Thanks again for making our 2 weeker vacation a fun and amazing learning experience. Our Rescue Diving course was tough, but highly beneficial and what a
learning experience! We are definitely more knowledgeable and cognizant of our own skills and more aware of our environment and people (other divers) thanks to Martin's diligent tutelage and many thanks to Nick for being our unconscious, unresponsive and tired practice victim (we now refer to him as "unresponsive Nick").
We really enjoyed taking our classes with you and the staff - we so
enjoy their company as they are not only professional, but also
friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, entertaining and always courteous.
We have some really great memories and have already started to share
them with friends and family (yes, they now know of you all!)
Thanks for sharing with us, your guidance, knowledge, experience and
expertise and for creating such a fun and relaxing atmosphere, even when
we stretch your patience :-)
We will definitely be visiting again and we wish you all, good health

The tan has just about worn off and I've deleted the out-of-focus pics from my dive camera. Had to drop a line to say how great my 4 days of diving were with these folks. Made my Mayan vacation exceptional. Thanks to Ted, Carlos, Mario and Froy for keeping this coldwater diver happy. I had 3 days of ocean dives and one cenote. Like swimming in an aquarium. I hope you folks know how good you've got it. Keep a locker empty for me for next year. Hope to fill more dive log pages with your stamps. Thanks. |

Hi, I'm from Quebec, Canada and I just arrived from a trip to Mayan Riviera. I did two dives with Dive Aventuras and it was the greatest dives I've ever did yet. "Mucho Gracias" to Carlos, Javier and all the team of Dive Aventuras to show me all the beauties of your under water carribean sea with such professionnalism and attention for an unexperienced diver like me. It was my 8th and 9th dives, the second dive in the warm water (I did my certification in Canada) and Carlos just make it easy for me. I loved swimming and observing the sea turtles, they are so majestuous!
I can wait to go back to Mayan Riviera to dive again and be sure that I will dive again with you guys! Hasta Luego! |

I have been home for just over three weeks now and diving is still all I can think about.
Diving has always been an interest of mine but I was always a bit frightened by the whole thing. That didn't seem to mean much thanks to your eager and well trained staff. Learning to dive was the most rewarding experience for me. Although my friends teased me about not having a tan, diving was something that was worth giving a tan up for. A big thanks to my instructor Jaun Bernal who made sure diving was an experience I will never forget, and one that will be continued in upcoming months. Thanks for everything. I will be returning to your dive shop in future years and I am very much looking forward to it. |

I want to say thank you for some wonderful diving. Dive Aventuras is a great dive operation and I recommended you guys to everyone at the Barcelo....Tell Carlos that he was one of the best dive masters that I have ever dove with, but I am very mad at him for showing my wife the hammerhead shark!
Honestly, I have dove with many dive operations, and yours was the friendliest and best one I have encountered. Most places I have dove in Mexico stop dives at 30minutes and charge much more. The shortest dive I had when I was there last week was 55min. Again, thank you and I am sure you will be seeing me again in the future. |

As a Hard Headed 58 year old man I thought I was an old dog way past learning any new tricks. Karen, my instructor, through her extensive patience and experience taught me otherwise. I just completed my Open Water Diver certification and it was a WONDERFUL experience. The staff was professional and very friendly with a "new" bubbler.The equipment was top notch and easy to use. Their beautiful location is only minutes from some of the best reefs in the Yucatan. So drag your butt off the couch and JUST DO IT..... |

We've been home for almost two weeks, but we are still thinking about our wonderful vacation in Puerto Aventuras. We enjoyed a week of diving and relaxation and it was one of the best vacations we have experienced.
We want to thank the staff at Dive Aventuras for their hospitality and friendliness during our visit. Nils and Eileen were very helpful in getting us booked for our dives and making sure we had everything we needed. They always greeted us by name and took time to talk with us.
We also want to give a big "Thank You" to our dive guides: Mauricio, Carlos, Froy and Nils. The guides worked very well with the boat crew and were very patient and courteous in assisting those divers who needed help. The guides were very helpful in pointing out the coral, sponges and fish. They also were good at finding those items we would have passed over and missed.
We only wished that our underwater pictures would have come out a little better. I guess we'll just have to visit again and see if we can improve on our photography!
Thanks again to the staff at Dive Aventuras for making our visit a memorable experience. We will be back for a return trip next Summer. |
